The LET’S TALK ABOUT SUICIDE Series:
1. WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER TELL SOMEONE TO KILL THEMSELVES
I began my series on suicide by looking at the one thing far too many people say without thinking about the effect it may have on someone whose mental health is already fragile, focusing on a time when someone said it to me less than two weeks after a suicide attempt I was still trying to deal with.
2a. MY SUICIDE ATTEMPTS (UP UNTIL 2007)
A look at the four occasions between 2000 – 2007 when I considered and came close to killing myself.
2b. MY SUICIDE ATTEMPT (OCTOBER 2007)
A more in depth look at a suicide attempt I undertook in October 2007.
3. GET ME THROUGH DECEMBER
Dealing with the suicide of a friend or loved one is difficult. I only knew Rachel for a few days but her suicide has had a profound effect on me to this very day.
4. STEPHANIE – HER GRACE, MY GUILT
Stephanie was the second person I knew who killed themselves. I never actually met her, but her death had a huge impact on my soul.
