A Day in Books

Whilst perusing the magical world of the blogosphere I noticed this fun little meme on The Bookworm Chronicles, who in turn got it from The Book Jotter, who in turn got it from Cornflower Books. So having enjoyed their posts I have decided to do it for myself :)

The idea is simple; fill in the blanks of the following passage with titles of books that you have read this year:

I began the day In the Garden of Desire before breakfasting on Reheated Cabbage and admiring The Hanging Garden.

On my way to work I saw Voss and walked by The Yiddish Policeman’s Union to avoid The Ladies of Grace Adieu, but I made sure to stop at The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty.

In the office, my boss said, ‘If You Liked School, You’ll Love Work‘ and sent me to research The Conquest of the Incas.

At lunch with Macbeth I noticed Jane Eyre in El Dorado greatly enjoying Fifty Shades of Grey.

Then on the journey home, I contemplated Special Topics in Calamity Physics because I have An Unquiet Mind and am drawn to Thy Rod and Staff.

Settling down for the evening in A Fringe of Leaves I studied The Lore of Scotland by The Back of the North Wind before saying ‘goodnight, The Moon is Drowning While I Sleep‘.

  1. I’m so glad you gave this a go. It so much fun to see how much a simple story can change because of the different books people have read. Your book titles seem to fit really well :-)
