This week marks the tenth anniversary of my arrival in Australia!
In celebration, throughout this week I will be sharing some of my favourite photographs of this great country.
One of my happiest memories of the last ten years is my parent’s visit to Australia in late 2004. After two years of being away from my family, seeing them again was tremendously exciting, especially as I was able to take time off work and spend three weeks showing them my new home. Trips to Melbourne Zoo, St. Kilda, Carlton, Chapel Street and the Aquarium were followed by a four-day jaunt along the Great Ocean Road.
My mother fell in love with the Otway Rainforest, my father braved the Antarctic currents off the coast of Port Fairy and I took a panoramic photograph of my parents enjoying a coffee break on my new (at the time) digital camera.
Following our adventure along the Great Ocean Road, trips to the Grampians (my first and only visit to tis beautiful area), Daylesford, Phillip Island and Healesville created lifelong memories for my parents and I.
